Andrew Heinzman grew up in the Half Moon Bay area on the California coast, where he was continually drawn to a variety of artistic endeavors throughout his adolescence. After getting a Bachelor’s degree at Cal State Monterey Bay, he caught the fiction bug and got to work writing his first book, which quickly turned into three and became The Dread Trilogy. Thankfully, this finally provided an outlet for an imagination that was often overactive, unusual, and dark (or so he’s been told).
